  • Cenotes de Cuzama Santa Bárbara

    Cuzamá famous in the region for its cenotes and the peculiar way to visit them. The tour through the different cenotes is done in “trucks”, which are small cars pulled by horses in an incredible flavor of adventure.

    Poolcocom Cenote: open type with enough vegetation of same ramones. The body of water is not relatively large, approximately 13 meters long and 5 meters wide, with a depth of 1.5 to 2 meters on the shore and a maximum average of 15 meters in the deepest part.

    Cenote Cascabel closed type (cavern) with few rock formations; The depth is between 1.5 meters to 15 meters. Newly discovered cenote due to the indications of a tree called "Kopó" or "Alamo", this cave's name is derived from a snake from the region which left its Rattlesnake or rattle near the ascent zone of this.

    Cenote Chacksikin: it is semi-open; It has an entrance of 5 to 6 meters wide free fall approximately 12 meters. The surface of the water is 40 meters wide with a huge vault of 10 m high adorned on the roof with lots of speleothems such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns and stone curtains. The water is crystal blue with a fairly deep visibility.
