  • Uxmal y Kabah

    Located 80 Kms. from Merida, Uxmal shows what Puuc art built in parallelepiped shapes of buildings, with smooth walls and ornate friezes. Most of the buildings at Uxmal, belong to the Classic Maya period and some to the Late Middle Phase. Chaac, the Rain God, is represented in multiple buildings: in the Palace of the Governor, the Quadrangle of the Nuns, the Pyramid of the Magician, among others.

    Kabah, where we find a quadrangle called Codz-pop that means rolling backpack, the Arch, the masks of Chac, the Temple of the Columns and the House of the Witch.

         (This tour lasts about 8 hours).
