  • Apiturism, Meliponary in Sinanché

Inside the Meliponario you will be able to live with the bees and learn about the process of how they make honey and its derivatives such as wax and royal jelly. You can also taste the different types of honey that there are and you will enjoy several workshops in which they will teach you how to make the products that they sell and which have different healing or beneficial properties for health. They also have guided tours, spaces for hiking and cycling.

The objective of the family is for Mexican and foreign visitors to interact with the Apis Melífera bees or the meliponas of the Xunan Cab species "so that they have a unique experience, but above all to preserve the species," explains Miriam Espinosa Pinzón to EFE. who, together with her husband, Benigno Ramírez Palma, now deceased, created Apiturismo Sinanché.

Entering the world of bees to learn about their work, production and the importance of their presence on the planet is easy: in Sinanché, a community east of Yucatán, in the Mexican southeast, a family promotes Apitourism.

At the site, located about 300 meters after the local cemetery, heading to the cornfields, visitors will find four themed cabins managed by the Ramírez Espinosa family.

Includes: transportation, tickets, food and a beach swim
